Vital Signs: This blend of 85% Lambrusco Grasparossa, 15% Malbo Gentile, and 5% Marzemino comes from thirty year old vines. Fermentation is carried out in tank with bottling under pressure and without sulfur additions of any kind.

Uncle Bill's Take: This has everything you could ask of a fizzy red by equal turns fruity, earthy, wildly refreshing, and complex. There's a bitter herbaceousness to the finish that's quintessentially Italian and downright rejuvenating.
